BLOG | Looking back on three months in North Macedonia

At the end of the month I’d like to look back on where I’ve been, what I did, how I felt and what was on my mind. I haven’t been very faithful to my blog lately, think the last post was in May (oeps) and therefor I’ll squeeze three months into one post. With this slightly delayed photo journal I hope to give you an impression of my three months in Mavrovo National Park.

BLOG | Life in Zagreb, Looking back on March

At the end of the month I’d like to look back on what I’ve done, on how I felt and what was on my mind. While scrolling through the photos, I immediately got a smile on my face. It was a great March. Thought I didn’t do much, but surely it’s enough for a blog post. Which actually means that I took enough photos to fill a blog post. So, here’s March (and a little bit of April), a photo journal about my life in Zagreb.

BLOG Looking back on February | Early Spring

At the end of the month I like to look back on where I’ve been and what I’ve done. On how I felt and what was on my mind. I could have posted these photos on Instagram, but I didn’t. Now they’re in February’s photo diary where I leave snowy Sarajevo for The Netherlands. Usually February is a bit of a difficult month, it’s not green yet, it’s still cold and the sunrise I terribly late. This year was different though. No, not the sunrise, no. But it was warm and sunny. There were blue skies, nature started to wake up. I even saw little lambs. This crazy early spring arrived almost at the same time as I did. Lucky me!

SNow, snOW, snow | Looking back on January | Monthly PHOTO Diary

At the end of the month I like to look back on where I’ve been and what I’ve done. On how I felt and what was on my mind. My Instagram pictures give a pretty good impression of what it’s like to spend some time in a mountain hut, but they don’t really tell what was on my mind. Or at least not during the second half of January. That’s why I wrote a weekly update as well, filed under “Trebević Tales“. Here’s January’s Photo Story with a whole lot of snow, snow, snow.

It turned out that my Instagram pictures actually give a pretty good impression. So, I decided to put them together in a blog post. Here’s my monthly photo essay, Looking back on December: Slowly sliding towards the finish line.

At the end of the month I’d like to look back on where I’ve been, what I did and how I felt. Usually I upload my Instagram photos in the “Looking Back” blogpost, but the second half of October I hardly had any internet. So, no Instagram updates. Because I want my posts to be chronological and it took me quite a while to catch up, I delayed this post. We’re halfway November, but here’s me looking back on October.

At the end of the month I’d like to look back on where I’ve been, what I did and how I felt. Despite the fact that I’m really taking my time, I can’t escape the feeling that I can’t keep up with my own pace. I’m a slow traveller, still I need more time to sit and stare. Every day is an adventure, that’s how I like it. Not knowing what the day will bring. Live every minute, absorb every impression. To avoid an adventure overdose, I write.
